Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These terms apply when you use this website or buy services from Virtual Zone Technologies. By doing either, you agree to them. If you and we sign a proposal, statement of work or contract, that document applies together with these terms, and it takes priority where the two differ.

2. About us

Virtual Zone Technologies is a software company located at 50-N Gurumangat Road, Block N, Gulberg III, Lahore 54000, Pakistan. We are registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and listed with Dun & Bradstreet (D-U-N-S® 850405427).

3. Our services

Our services are described on our Products & Services page. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price for your work are set out in a written proposal before any payment is made. Changes to an agreed scope are made in writing and may change the price and timeline.

4. Quotes & prices

• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.
• Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) or US Dollars (USD), as stated on the quote.
• Unless the quote says otherwise, prices do not include applicable federal or provincial taxes, which are added to the invoice as required by law.
• Third-party costs such as hosting, domains, licences, app store fees and advertising spend are charged separately and only with your approval.

5. Payment

• Projects are paid in stages: an advance before work begins, then payments at the milestones set out in your proposal.
• Monthly plans are paid in advance at the start of each billing period.
• Invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date unless your proposal says otherwise.
• We accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards through our payment provider where available, and any other method shown on the invoice.
• Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
• If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it is received, after notifying you in writing.

Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide the content, information, account access and approvals we need, on time.
• Make sure anything you give us, such as text, images, logos or data, is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Review deliveries and give feedback within the period set out in our Service Delivery Policy.
• Keep your own accounts, passwords and backups secure once they are handed over to you.

7. Intellectual property

• Once you have paid in full, you own the custom code, designs and content we create specifically for you.
• Until full payment, ownership stays with us, and you may use the work only for review.
• We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, templates and know-how. Where they form part of your deliverables, you receive a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of that work.
• Open-source components remain under their own licences, which we will identify on request.
• This website, its content and our own apps belong to Virtual Zone Technologies.

8. Confidentiality

We keep your business information, data and project details confidential and use them only to deliver your services. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request. Your obligations towards our confidential information, such as pricing and internal methods, are the same.

9. Warranty

For 30 days after delivery, we fix free of charge any defect where the work does not perform as agreed in your proposal. This does not cover changes made by anyone other than us, problems caused by third-party services or hosting, or new features. Beyond this warranty, and to the extent the law allows, our work is provided without other guarantees.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Third-party services

Projects often rely on services we do not control, such as hosting providers, app stores, payment gateways and external APIs. Their own terms apply. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or decisions, for example an app store rejecting or removing an app, but we will help you respond to them.

12. Our apps

Use of our apps on Google Play is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and by each app’s own terms and privacy policy. Purchases inside those apps are handled by Google Play.

13. Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it or use it to send spam. Website content is provided for general information and may change without notice.

14. Termination

Either party may end a project or plan by written notice. Work completed up to that date is payable, and refunds follow our Return & Refund Policy. Either party may end an agreement immediately if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not put it right within 14 days of being asked to.

15. Portfolio

We will only name you as a client or show your project in our portfolio with your written permission.

16. Events beyond our control

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or internet outages, government action or major service failures by third parties. The affected party will tell the other promptly and resume work as soon as possible.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion for 30 days. If that fails, the courts at Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you accept a proposal applies to that project. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
